Signed Memorandum with eight Chinese broadcasting stations for production.
Signed Memorandum with China Netcom for broadcast telecommunications.
Initial production plan completed.
Developed overall production philosophy.
Selection of production crews and equipment underway.
Lighting requirements analyzed.
Determined preliminary commentary positions.
TV compounds being defined, as are the various trailer dimensions.
Established communications between BOB and the Rights Holding Broadcasters.
Current staff of around 100 employees.
Drafted agreements with Mobile Unit providers.
Drafted agreements with production teams.
Revised 2nd version of Venue Survey Report and issued to BOCOG, detailing BOB¡¯s requirements at the venues.

2006
132 people on board (90% coverage).
88 Chinese & 44 Foreign Nationals from 12 countries.|
Participated in Torino 2006 operations (mostly local Chinese staff).
Briefing for EBU members.
Planning preliminary beauty cameras.
Selection of most of the Production teams.
Work on Graphics for the Games has begun.
Secured all necessary OB Vans.
Selection of basic specialty, telecom and character generating equipment completed.
Logistics Department operational.
Development of Planning Master Integrated Timelines and Games-time timelines per venue.
Start of development of Games-time structure and organizational charts.
Opened bids for construction of the IBC and selected company - Agreement finalized, October 2006.
Submitted operational plan and budget to BOCOG for the Paralympic Games.

Agreement with BOCOG for BOB to be the Host Broadcaster for the Paralympic Games. BOCOG/Chinese TV Station agreements still to be finalized.
Concluded agreements with all Production Teams.
Concluded agreements with all OB Van providers.
Received bookings for the IBC space in the IBC and developed detailed plans for internal distribution of RHB and BOB space.
Finalized the basic plan for the use of Specialty Equipment.
Finalized selection of RF equipment providers.
Finalized selection of most of the additional equipment providers.
Finalized the plan for Virtual Enhancements and selected vendor (Swiss Timing).
Signed contracts with Universities for the Broadcast Training Program.
Started recruitment and enrolment of students.
Continued refinement of Graphics.
Organized unilateral surveys and meetings with most of the major RHBs in Beijing.
Received RHB bookings ¨C processing is ongoing.
Developed Games-time Organizational Charts for the IBC and the Venues.
Recruitment of Games-time Management and other personnel ¨C already well-advanced.
